A 3,000 year old, well preserved Bronze Age sword has been dug up in Nordlingen, Bavaria. Being a JM geek I thought, 'hey, that's the city in the 'Ship's Grave' crater.

On Nick Dudman's website, there is a new promotional painting / picture for 'The Exiles', his TV development of the 'Pliocene Exile' books.

It's called 'Felice at the Ship's Grave' and shows her standing from a distance looking towards the crater lake (presumably looking forward to getting her own gold torc).

It looks quite dramatic. I've always had a soft spot for the Ship; it was a living spaceship bonded to Brede Shipspouse, and gave its life to find the Tanu / Firvulag a new home. The Ship's Grave is based on the Ries, a meteor crater that surrounds a German city north of the Danube.

Moar pics plz!
