imhilienA year ago on October 17 2017, author Julian May passed away. She was 86 and had written the time-travel epic The Saga of the Exiles and its accompanying books, Intervention and the Galactic Milieu trilogy. She also wrote the Rampart Worlds and the Boreal Moon trilogies among others.
There was talk at one point of making a TV series of the Saga of the Exiles, but since there hasn't been any updates in ages I have to sadly conclude it is stuck in Production Hell like so many others (Dragonriders of Pern, anyone?).
At least a collection of fan art and a small collection of fan fiction exists. This blog exists. A bit of light in the dark is better than no light at all.
