imhilien: Lady Riding (Lady Riding)

When I started re-reading The Many Coloured Land recently, the thought came 'why not sort Group Green into Hogwarts houses?' *

So, which houses do our bunch of 22nd-century time travellers fit into.

Gryffindor

Stein - He's built like a Viking, and wants to be a real life one, too. Point him towards a battle and he'll be off.

Felice - At first I thought she should be in Slytherin, but then I thought that since she's a top athlete, has a reckless streak for causing mass destruction without, um, thinking things through first then maybe this is her house. Also, not every Gryffindor is good.

Ravenclaw

Bryan - The academic who lives in too much of his own head and so becomes vulnerable when he falls in love with Mercy and follows her through the time portal.

Claude - The paleontologist who goes through the time portal wanting to see 'the fossil zoo'. He's probably part Gryffindor.

Elizabeth - The widowed childrens teacher who will have to keep her wits about her when it all becomes a bit Game of Thrones on the other side of the time portal - and she's looked at like the golden prize, much to her alarm.

Slytherin

Richard - An ambitious starship captain who was punished for ignoring an alien distress call because aliens - he belongs here.

Aiken - That grin of his is pure Slytherin, all the time.

Hufflepuff

Sister Amerie - She likes looking after others, I think she belongs here.

My previous post about another re-read of TMCL ended up in my other blog, so I'll repeat the link here. It only goes as far as chapter 9, but still worth reading.

*Thanks, Harry Potter. I think!
