The Saga and Number 27

It was pointed out one time that the number 27 is a significant one in the Exiles / Milieu books.
- 'Magnificat' ends exactly 27 years before the beginning of the Exile books - thus Marc and the Rebels entered the Pliocene 27 years before the main Exile characters, as is explained later on in the Exile books (although the Tanu don't like talking about it, of course).
- 'Jack the Bodiless' starts exactly 27 years after the end of Intervention, which means Victor has thus been trapped inside his skull for 27 years.
- Marc is 27 years older than Elizabeth.
- Marc and Victor are both given 27 years as a 'time of reflection' to think about their crimes and as we all know, Marc renounces evil and Victor doesn't.
The numerology meaning of 27:
2 - represents Duality. Creyn told Elizabeth that she and Marc were destined to become a 'Duality'. Naturally she freaked out a bit, because while she was a healer who tried to help people, at this point she thought that Marc was evil and beyond help, least of all hers.
7 - people with this number are said to be psychic, intellectual & solitary.
9 - (2+7) represents the end of cycles (cycles in numerology are counted in 9's.). People with this number are said to be humanitarian psychics who want to save the world. Hmm.
